Walk into an open house in Kettering or Beavercreek this fall and you'll notice something that wasn't happening much a year ago: sellers are willing to talk. Buyers touring homes along Far Hills Avenue or through Beavercreek's newer subdivisions are hearing agents mention closing-cost credits and rate buydowns almost as often as square footage and finished basements.
